Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Little Learning Grove (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid subscribers.

Description of Service

Little Learning Grove is an AI-powered curriculum planning platform that helps PreK–Grade 5 educators generate lesson plans, activity materials, and printable handouts. The Service is designed for use by teachers, administrators, and other education professionals.

Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to update it as needed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where possible.

Subscriptions and Billing

Little Learning Grove offers both free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable rate.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.

Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to curriculum generation features. Free-tier content may include Little Learning Grove branding or watermarks. We reserve the right to modify free-tier features and limits at any time.

AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate lesson plans, activity descriptions, images, and other educational materials. You should be aware that:

• AI content requires educator review. Generated materials are starting points for your planning, not final instructional products. You are responsible for reviewing all content for accuracy, age-appropriateness, and alignment with your curriculum standards before use in a classroom.
• Content may contain errors. AI-generated text and images may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or pedagogical soundness of any generated materials.
• No professional advice. Generated content does not constitute professional educational, legal, or medical advice.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any original content you input into the Service, such as custom prompts, lesson modifications, and notes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of generating and delivering curriculum content to you.

We do not claim ownership of AI-generated content produced through your use of the Service. You are free to use, modify, print, and distribute generated materials in your educational practice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service outside of normal use
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially repackage generated content as a competing curriculum product or service
• Deliberately input student personally identifiable information into the platform

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, codebase, branding, and documentation, is owned by Little Learning Grove and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that generated content will meet any specific educational standards or requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Little Learning Grove and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or instructional time.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Little Learning Grove and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
