Our Mission
About Us
The Little Learning Grove started with a simple observation: the teachers who pour the most heart into their classrooms often spend their evenings buried in lesson planning.
Our team spent years in early childhood education — leading toddler play groups, running incubator programs with local Wisconsin school districts, and developing curriculum methods that help children and families grow together. Through this work, we saw firsthand how much time talented educators spend on repetitive planning tasks instead of doing what they do best — teaching, connecting with children, and creating joyful learning environments.
Like many educators, we also saw the growing weight of teacher burnout. The long hours of planning, preparing materials, and aligning lessons to standards often happen after the school day ends. The passion that brings teachers into the profession can slowly be overshadowed by the constant demand to do more with less time.
That experience became the foundation for everything we build.
The curriculum approaches inside The Little Learning Grove aren't theoretical — they've been shaped by years of hands-on work with real children, real parents, and real classrooms. Every lesson structure is designed to support developmentally appropriate learning while aligning with the kinds of standards educators are already responsible for meeting in their classrooms.
We built this tool because we believe every teacher deserves planning tools that respect their time, honor their expertise, and help reduce the workload that contributes to burnout.
Today, The Little Learning Grove helps Birth through age 5 educators generate station-based lesson plans with AI, create ready-to-print materials, and organize learning experiences that support both creativity and standards-based instruction. By simplifying the planning process, teachers can reclaim hours of their week and refocus their energy on the moments that matter most — building relationships with students and helping children thrive.
We're a small team, and we're building this for teachers like the ones who inspired us to start.
